Elevator Cab Options – Where Are We Wednesdays (10/31/2018)

Elevator Cab Options
Where Are We Wednesdays (12/19/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Lead Technician Adam sent in the first two pictures while in Waynesville, Missouri today.  Along with Technician Tim, they are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator that will service two floors.  The first picture on the left shows the external hoistway that was built to accommodate the elevator.  Some homeowners choose this route instead of giving up existing room for the elevator, the tower will be finished to match the home and will look like it was there all along.

The top middle picture shows the elevator cab interior as it is being wired.  We can match the style and quality of any home with custom wood designs. Homeowners can choose from Maple, Birch, Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut, or Alder wood species for the elevator cab. Standard stain options include Satin Clear, Traditional Cherry, Golden Oak, and Country Pine.  The elevator car panels, car and ceiling, come in Flat, Shaker, Raised, or Recessed.  We have also partnered with Sundance Cabinets, a local small business, for completely customized elevators.

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim sent in the last two pictures while in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Along with Technician Ivan, they are installing an Alliance Holeless Hydraulic Commercial Elevator.  This 2100-pound capacity elevator will service an office building.  The bottom middle picture shows the elevator pit with the jacks.  The advantage of holeless hydraulic elevators are that the jacks are located above ground, thereby eliminating the need to drill a jack hole and eliminating the risk of oil contamination.  The final picture on the right shows the elevator car top and rails.

Our crews are also in Sullivan, Hollister, Springfield, Topeka, St Marys, Kansas City, Cabool, and Poplar Bluff today.  If you see one of our trucks, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Multi-State Sales and Service – Where Are We Wednesdays (11/07/2018)

Multi-State Sales and Service
Where Are We Wednesdays (11/07/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim sent in the first picture on the left while in Edmond, Oklahoma today.  Oklahoma Elevator Code requires inspections with testing and a written plan of maintenance on all of their commercial elevators.  Jim is traveling with an inspector today to complete the maintenance and assist with testing on several elevators, including this Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator we installed in an office building.

Technician Ivan sent in the top middle picture while in Afton, Oklahoma.  He and Technician Donald are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  This elevator will service two floors, and has a pass-through style cab, meaning that the elevators has doors that open in the front and in the back.

Senior Technician Ron and Technician Jesse sent in the bottom middle picture while in Kimberling City, Missouri.  They are installing a Bruno Stairlift.  Although we can order virtually any brand of stairlift, we do keep a stock of used stairlifts available as well.  As long as the stairs are configured correctly, this can be an economic option with a quick installation turnaround.  This inventory is dynamic, and can change daily.

Kansas City Sales Consultant Amy sent in the top right picture while in Prairie Village, Kansas.  She came to check on the installation of a Symmetry Home Elevator and snapped a picture of the crew.  Pictured are Technician Jake, Technician Tim, and Kansas City Technician Darren doing their best tough model pose.  Could there be a calendar in the future???

The final picture on the right was sent in by Lead Technician Adam in Ballwin, Missouri.  Along with Technician Austin, they are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  The wood paneling and stain of this elevator cab are gorgeous, it will be great to see once the product is finished!

Our crews are also in Tulsa, Kansas City, Village of Loch Lloyd, Parkville, Holiday Island and Branson today.  If you see one of our trucks, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Limited Use Limited Access Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (10/31/2018)

Limited Use Limited Access Elevators
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/31/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Lead Technician Adam sent in the first four pictures on the left while installing a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma today.  Technicians Austin and Jessie are assisting with the installation in this office building (can you find Austin in the top middle picture?).  What is a Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator (LU/LA)?  The LU/LA elevator provides access for low occupancy / low rise commercial buildings where a traditional passenger elevator is not feasible or required by code. It is ideal for applications up to six stops and 25 feet (standard) or 40 feet (with approved variance) of travel.  All LU/LA elevators are limited by speed, travel and capacity in order to comply with ASME A17.1 Section 5.2 and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

What makes the Symmetry LU/LA exceptional?  The Symmetry LU/LA has the shallowest pit depth required in the industry (13” pit), easing construction costs.  It has the shortest overhead required in the industry (106”), making it easier to fit in smaller spots.  All lights used for the Symmetry LU/LA are energy saving LED, including the COP & car lights.  It also includes directional indicators.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Technician Ivan in Springfield, Missouri.  Along with Senior Technician Ron, they are installing a Symmetry LU/LA Retrofit Modernization Kit to an existing Flexi Lift LU/LA.  The company that made Flexi Lifts is no longer in business, so when the local school started having issues with their lift we worked with Symmetry Elevating Systems to come up with a Retrofit Kit that would fit for the repairs and Modernization.

Our crews are also in Tulsa, Saint Marys, Prairie Village, Village of Loch Lloyd, St. Louis and Wichita today.  If you see one of our trucks, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Custom Home Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (10/24/2018)

Custom Home Elevators
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/24/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Kansas City Technician Darren sent in the first three pictures on the left while at a service call in an undisclosed location today.  This is one of a few secret elevators we have installed, this homeowner is able to access hidden parts of the home with it.  The elevator is completely hidden by paneling, one small panel opens to reveal the elevator call button.  The elevator door looks like a wardrobe from the outside, a CS Lewis inspiration.   Our Symmetry Home Elevators are fully customizable, and we can work with homeowners to add special features.  Another secret elevator we installed has a hidden button, guests can ride that elevator but only the homeowner knows how to access a split level.

The top picture on the right was sent in by Lead Technician Adam in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He is finishing up on a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access (LU/LA) Elevator downtown, and couldn’t help but park in front of the Governor’s Mansion!  This low-rise elevator was created to fill the void between large commercial elevators and vertical platform lifts. The LU/LA helps architects and specification writers meet code requirements, stay within budgetary restraints, and make use of limited physical space in both new construction and remodel work.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Senior Technician Ron in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Along with Technician Ivan, they are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  This elevator will service three floors and has been customized with glass doors and windows.

Our crews are also in Village of Loch Lloyd, Parkville, Cameron, Independence, Arkadelphia, Edmond, and Oklahoma City today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Home Elevator Customization Options – Where Are We Wednesdays (08/29/2018)

Home Elevator Customization Options
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/29/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim is in Okmulgee, Oklahoma today.  He is finishing up on the installation of a Symmetry Hydraulic Home Elevator.  This elevator cab features beautiful glass elements, one of the many customization options we offer.  The light-colored cab floor works with the lighting and mirrors to make the cab bright and spacious.

The top middle picture was sent in by Lead Technician Adam at a jobsite near Forest Park in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator in an office building.  The owner was looking for an economic ADA compliant solution, and the CHE LULA perfectly fit the bill!

The next picture was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren from Parkville, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Home Elevator, this picture shows the outer door with an auto-opening feature.  Once the elevator reaches the floor, the gate will automatically open and the door will open too.  These features are especially useful for individuals in wheelchairs.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Technician Ivan.  He is servicing a Stannah Stairlift in West Plains, Missouri today.  Eighteen years ago, this lift was installed to help a husband navigate the stairs.  The lift has been well maintained, due to its longevity the lift is now used by the wife too.  As you can see, the lift is in pristine condition!  We have so many happy Stannah customers, and so many new customers requesting them that we keep straight rail systems in stock for quick installs.

Our crews are also in University City, Belton, Kearney, Oklahoma City, Muskogee, and Linwood today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one pictured above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

LEV Service and Elevator Installations – Where Are We Wednesdays (07/11/2018)

LEV Service and Elevator Installations
Where Are We Wednesdays (07/11/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the top left, Senior Technician Ron and Lead Technician Adam are in Warsaw, Missouri today.  They are responding to a service request for a Savaria Telecab elevator.  Although Country Home Elevator has been installing and servicing Savaria products for well over a decade, we are expanding our line to include the Savaria Vuelift.  These elevators are comprised of glass walls, giving customers full views.  We will be releasing more information soon on all of our upcoming products!

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim took the middle left picture today while in Edmond, Oklahoma.  He is visiting the jobsite for a new office building that will feature a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access (LU/LA) Elevator.  This elevator will service 3 floors once completed.  Jim met with the contractor to discuss the hoistway construction and recheck framing measurements.  These visits are crucial when installing any of our products, it is simple to correct any issues at this stage before the elevator is built.

The bottom picture on the left and the top picture on the right were taken in Rogers, Arkansas by Technician Tim and Technician Ivan.  They are preforming a retro kit installation on a LEV Home Elevator.  This elevator is no longer manufactured, and the manufacturer is no longer operating in the States so when components fail or are damaged they are replaced with Symmetry parts.  Due to damage, they are replacing almost all of the electrical components today.

The final picture on the bottom right was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren.  Installation Manager Bill met up with him in Lawrence, Kansas to install a Transporter Elevator.  The Transporter Elevator is the industry’s only battery powered residential home elevator, virtually eliminating concerns regarding power outages. The unit can run multiple trips (up to 10+ times), in BOTH directions, on its own batteries.

Our crews are also in Ozark, Branson, El Dorado, Mission Hills, Oklahoma City, Perkins, and Springfield today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one in the final picture above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
