Where Are We Wednesdays (04/11/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!
Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim sent in the picture on the left of an elevator he is installing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Before the installation process can begin, Builders/Contractors are required to place the doors to ensure that the hoistway is protected. What an incredible door that will soon house a Symmetry Home Elevator!
The top middle picture was sent in by Lead Technician Adam and Technician Austin. They are installing another Canton Elevator at Grand Country Inn in Branson, Missouri. This view shows the rails in the hoistway, a trademark of Canton is that some of the inner-workings of their equipment ships in with a bright blue coat.
Technician Ivan sent in the bottom middle picture, he is doing a follow up visit on a Savaria Telecab we installed in Kansas City, Missouri. This elevator goes through the floor and has been growing in demand due to lack of hoistway. Dubbed the “vanishing” elevator, it has safety sensors to ensure that no obstructions are in the travelling path.
The last picture on the right was sent in by Arkansas Technician Dustin. He is in Hot Springs, Arkansas evaluating older Inclinator Elevators for potential safety updates and modernization. One safety issue you can see on this lift is the scissor gate. These gates are shear hazards and are no longer manufactured.
Our crews are also in Raytown, Oak Grove, Loch Lloyd, Tumbling Shoals, Pomona, Cabool, Strafford, Oklahoma City, and Springfield today. If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
