Join Our Apprenticeship Program and Kickstart Your Career!

Are you looking for a career that offers hands-on training, valuable certifications, and a solid income? Look no further! Our apprenticeship program at Country Home Elevator (CHE) provides a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to earn while they learn, with company-paid elevator technician certifications and no out-of-pocket costs.

Training Opportunities

Comprehensive Education and Training

All apprentices will be enrolled in the CET (Certified Elevator Technician) Program after demonstrating their capability and commitment over a 60-day period. This prestigious program is nationally recognized and ANSI Certified, ensuring you receive top-quality education and training.

Flexible and Self-Paced Learning

The CET program is designed to be completed in four years, but it’s self-paced, allowing you to progress through the coursework faster if you wish. However, the on-the-job (OJT) hours required must match the four years of work needed to complete the course. This flexibility lets you balance your work, studies, and personal life effectively.

Study Requirements

Be prepared to dedicate some nights and weekends to study and review materials to pass the necessary tests. Your hard work and dedication will be key to your success in this program

Qualification Criteria

To qualify for our apprenticeship program, you must have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Additionally, you will be required to complete the OSHA 30 course within your first 90 days of employment. We cover the cost of the course, but you’ll need to complete it on your own time.

Diverse Training Locations

Some of your training will take place on the road within different regions of our market, as well as at manufacturers’ locations across the US and Canada. We cover all expenses, including hotels and meals, and you’ll be paid for 40 hours while attending manufacturer training sessions.

Significant Investment in Your Future

We invest over $10,000 per year in your technical training, demonstrating our commitment to your professional growth and success. Unlike many programs, there’s no student loan payback plan – we simply ask that you continue to work for CHE and contribute to our team with the skills and knowledge you acquire.

Certifications

  • Associate Elevator Technician Certificate – AET

Upon completing the CET 2-Year exam, you will earn an Associates Elevator Technician Certificate – AET. This certification is a valuable milestone in your career development.

  • Fully Certified Elevator Technician – CET

After completing the four-year CET program and passing the final exam, you will be a fully certified Elevator Technician – CET. This certification opens up numerous career opportunities in the elevator industry.

  • State Elevator Mechanic Licenses

Different states offer elevator mechanic licenses after 2, 3, and 4 years of experience. Our goal is to support you in obtaining these licenses, enhancing your qualifications and enabling you to work as a licensed mechanic for Country Home Elevator.
