American Made Products – Where Are We Wednesdays (10/10/2018)

American Made Products
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/10/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Lead Technician Adam and Technician Austin are at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.  They are installing a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift in one of the Fraternity Houses.  This platform lift is housed in a hoistway that was previously stacked closets, making it fully enclosed.  Once the installation is completed and the jobsite is cleaned up, the lift will be ready for use!  All of the products you will read about today were made not only in the USA, but in the Midwest.  Symmetry Elevating Solutions’ products come out of Peoria, Illinois.

The middle picture on the top was sent in by Senior Technician Ron and Technician Jessie.  They are installing another Canton Elevator for Grand Country Inn in Branson, Missouri.  Canton Elevator Incorporated products come out of North Canton, Ohio.

The picture on the bottom was sent in by Technicians Tim and Jake in Shell Knob, Missouri.  They are performing a prewire for a Symmetry Home Elevator.  During this visit they will check all final measurements of the hoistway to ensure that the elevator installation goes as smoothly as possible.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He is at a service call for a Dumbwaiter made by Waupaca Elevator Company.  These home dumbwaiters come in either 100 or 200 pound capacities, and help the homeowner carry groceries, laundry, and holiday decorations from floor to floor.  They are unobtrusive, when the doors are closed they simply look like hallway cabinets.  Waupaca Elevator Company has been manufacturing dumbwaiters since 1957 and their products are based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.

Our crews are also in Springfield, Lenexa, Parkville, Licking, St. Louis, and Chestnut Ridge today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (08/08/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Senior Technician Ron sent in the picture on the left while in Branson, Missouri.  He has returned to Grand Country Inn to complete any final adjustments needed on the Canton Elevators Country Home Elevator has installed over the past few months.  Grand Country Inn has an indoor waterpark, so vacationers will be able to access the elevators instead of chancing fate on potentially slick stairs.  These elevators also give handicapped guests more room options.

The top middle picture is a selfie of Technician Tim in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He is finalizing an installation of a Symmetry Home Elevator.  The new elevator owners will be able to take their newly finished lift for a ride today!

The final two pictures were sent in by Technician Ivan from Carthage, Missouri.  He is servicing an Autoquip Freight Lift.  Freight Lifts, also known as vertical reciprocating conveyors, provide an exceptional solution for transferring high-capacity freight between mezzanine levels. Autoquip’s Freight Lifts provide a safe, economical, and reliable solution for vertical lifting challenges all within a small footprint. All of their freight lifts meet or exceed the requirements of ASME B20.1 (Safety Requirements for Conveyors and Related Equipment).  These lifts are designed to move freight and materials, they are not for passengers.

Our crews are also in St. Louis, University City, Belton, Prairie Village, Ottawa, Springfield, Edmond, Oklahoma City, Pauls Valley, Kimberling City, and Blue Eye today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Canton Elevator Installation and Symmetry Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (06/27/2018)

Canton Elevator Installation and Symmetry Elevators Where Are We Wednesdays (06/27/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The first two pictures were taken by Lead Technician Adam in Branson, Missouri today.  Him and Technician Austin are installing another Canton Elevator at the Grand Country Inn, one of the main attractions on the Branson Strip of Highway 76.  Along with the others at this site, this elevator is Canton’s Tradesman Model, a holeless hydraulic driven elevator that can service up to a 2500 lb capacity.  We are excited to be expanding our current Canton product line, Country Home Elevator has a new upcoming Canton project that will service up to a 3500 lb capacity.  Once that project begins we will share updates and pictures.  The top right picture is of the cartop, Adam was working on the wiring today.  Senior Technician Ron will join the team tomorrow to help them finish up and prep for the inspection.

Technician Tim snapped the middle picture of Technician Ivan filling out paperwork.  This is actually a Quality Report from Symmetry Elevating Solutions.  Each time we install one of their products, we have the opportunity to report directly to the manufacturer any issues we had or ideas to improve the product/process.  We appreciate how receptive they are, each year these products just get better and better.

Our crews are also in Platte City, Shawnee, Oak Grove, Lake Lotawana, Luther, Oklahoma City, Enid, and Springfield today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one in the final picture above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (05/23/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The top two pictures were taken by Lead Technician Adam in Branson, Missouri today.  His crew is installing another Canton Elevator at the Grand Country Inn, one of the main attractions on the Branson Strip of Highway 76.  Country Home Elevator offers Canton’s Tradesman Model Elevator, a holeless hydraulic driven elevator that can service up to a 2500lb capacity.  The top right picture is of Technician Austin finishing up the wiring, this brand new elevator will be ready to ride during the busy Memorial Day weekend.

Technician Tim snapped the bottom left picture of our newest employee, Technician Jesse, in Ridgedale, Missouri.  Tim is training on how to install a Symmetry Home Elevator in a condo.  Symmetry Elevators are classy in appearance, whisper quiet, energy saving, environmentally friendly, and unsurpassed in safety precautions.  They are the top home elevator brand we offer, so it is important that all technicians start training on them immediately.  Soon, he will go to Symmetry’s factory for in-depth training on all of their products.  Welcome to the team Jesse!

The final picture on the bottom right was sent in by Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim.  He is working with Technician Owen today to service a stairlift in Oklahoma City.  Although this lift was installed by another company, the customer has reached out to us for repairs.  Being a licensed dealer of every major stairlift brand on the market, it is easy for us to step in when a customer needs help.  Unlike the basic handyman, we state licensed and able to honor manufacturer’s warranties.

Our crews are also in Overland Park, Lake Lotawana, Parkville, Fayetteville, West Fork, and Skiatook today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (04/11/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim sent in the picture on the left of an elevator he is installing in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Before the installation process can begin, Builders/Contractors are required to place the doors to ensure that the hoistway is protected.  What an incredible door that will soon house a Symmetry Home Elevator!

The top middle picture was sent in by Lead Technician Adam and Technician Austin.  They are installing another Canton Elevator at Grand Country Inn in Branson, Missouri.  This view shows the rails in the hoistway, a trademark of Canton is that some of the inner-workings of their equipment ships in with a bright blue coat.

Technician Ivan sent in the bottom middle picture, he is doing a follow up visit on a Savaria Telecab we installed in Kansas City, Missouri. This elevator goes through the floor and has been growing in demand due to lack of hoistway.  Dubbed the “vanishing” elevator, it has safety sensors to ensure that no obstructions are in the travelling path.

The last picture on the right was sent in by Arkansas Technician Dustin.  He is in Hot Springs, Arkansas evaluating older Inclinator Elevators for potential safety updates and modernization.  One safety issue you can see on this lift is the scissor gate.  These gates are shear hazards and are no longer manufactured.

Our crews are also in Raytown, Oak Grove, Loch Lloyd, Tumbling Shoals, Pomona, Cabool, Strafford, Oklahoma City, and Springfield today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (02/14/2018)

Happy Valentine’s Day Folks!

Lead Technician Adam is running service and maintenance visits today, he sent in the two pictures on the left.  This Symmetry Home Elevator in St. James, Missouri has spectacular views!  Although the elevator was placed in the interior of the home, the homeowners requested an elevator cab with a window.  The hoistway wall also has windows, on the first floor are views of the wine cellar and on the second floor (pictured) there are views of the stained glass and water.  Elevators must have one enclosed wall for the rails, but the other three walls can be used as door or glass options.  The showroom elevator at the Corporate Office in Brighton, Missouri is interior with use of windows, similar to this one.  Walk-in showings are always welcome during regular business hours, and after hours showings can be done by appointment.

The top picture on the right features Austin, he is also running service and maintenance visits today.  He is testing an Inclined Platform Lift at Sullivan Schools in Sullivan, Missouri.  Inclined Platform Lifts (IPLs) are lifts that can be installed directly on the stairs.  They have a fold down seat, what Austin is sitting on, or wheelchairs can directly roll on them.  These lifts are an economic alternative to traditional Commercial Elevators, they do not require extra space.

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim sent in the middle picture on the right while servicing a Waupaca Home Elevator in Skiatook, Oklahoma.  This is the elevator controller, the electric component of the elevator that operates the system.  This is just part of the controller, an example of why it is important to have a factory trained service technician for any repairs.

Installation Manager Bill sent in the last picture.  He is with Warehouse Manager Tom delivering another Canton Elevator to the jobsite at Grand Country Inn in Branson, Missouri.  As mentioned a few weeks ago on a previous Canton Elevator installation at Grand Country Inn, Canton Elevators have a capacity ranging from 2000 to 3500 pounds, they are the largest elevators we currently offer. They are perfect for many commercial installations, and can be configured to carry either freight or passengers.  Luckily today it is warmer than the -7 degree temps they soldiered through in January!

Our crews are also in Chesterfield, Bonner Springs, Harrisonville, Prairie Village, West Plains, Mountain View, Springfield, Ponca City, and Fayetteville today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
