Curved Stairlifts
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/03/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The first three pictures were sent in by Sales Consultant John today in Springfield, Missouri.  This week crews have been installing the pictured Handicare Freecurve Stairlift, and now that the job is complete the customer is trying it out.

Country Home Elevator can install even the most complex curved stairway lifts with ease. To ensure an exact fit on your staircase, we utilize the Handicare proprietary PhotoSurvey3D system to take pictures of your stairs. These measurements are then uploaded into our system and transposed into an instant preview of how your stairlift will look in your home.  Our sales staff all have tablets that customers can use for the virtual experience.

This stairlift was installed with a special feature, a retractable rail.  In the first picture on the bottom left, the customer rode the stairlift to the bottom of the rail and exited safely on the main floor.  See the black piece on the rail right above the seat?  This is a retractable joint.  In the next picture, the stairlift and rail have been retracted onto itself, so it does not take up room in the walkway.  Retractable rails are an option for both straight and curved lifts, and are operated with the remote for easy use.

The next picture was sent in by Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim in Perkins, Oklahoma.  He is at a service call for a Car Lift, a personal garage lift used to maximize space by stacking cars using a platform.  They are utilized by first parking a car on the platform then lowing the lift into the pit and parking a car on top, or parking a car on top and lifting it above so a second car can be parked at ground level.  The first option is used by homeowners that want to keep a vehicle hidden, the latter for homeowners with higher ceiling space.  Country Home Elevator offers a few different options and brands when it comes to this type of lift.

The last picture on the bottom right was sent in by Lead Technician Adam in Chesterfield, Missouri.  Along with Technician Jesse, they are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  This view is during installation in which the car is between floors and Adam is below making adjustments.

Our crews are also in Rogers, St Marys, Overland Park, Kimberling City, El Dorado Springs, Branson, Tulsa, Vinita, and Norwood today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Curved Stairlift Installation and Safety Upgrades – Where Are We Wednesdays (07/25/2018)

Curved Stairlift Installation and Safety Upgrades
Where Are We Wednesdays (07/25/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting with the two pictures on the left, Kansas City Technician Darren and Technician Ivan are in Belton, Missouri today.  The top picture is of Ivan finishing up the installion of a Handicare Curved Stair Lift.  Most staircases go straight up and down, but when a staircase has a turn, we can install a custom-fitted lift to accommodate.  These lifts have many customizable options, as you can see the rail matches the woodwork of the home.  The bottom picture is of the happy customer, taking his new lift for a spin!

The top middle picture was taken by Operations Manager Jim in Skiatook, Oklahoma.  He is with Technician Owen installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  This hydraulic elevator will service three floors once completed.

The bottom middle picture was taken by Lead Technician Adam in Springfield, Missouri today.  He is servicing an old ThyssenKrupp Access Vertical Platform Lift.  Although many of these lifts are still operating today, their original manufacturer is no longer in business.  Country Home Elevator has decades of experience with these lifts and are commonly called even when we were not the original servicing company.

Inclinator Company of America is another manufacturer that we have worked with for decades now.  They recently requested Country Home Elevator to assist in taking over service for many of their lifts that were installed by other companies.  All of lifts they reached out about require safety upgrades, maintenance, adjustment, or even replacement.  Senior Technician Ron is in Kimberling City, Missouri today running tests on one of these units.

Our crews are also in Fayetteville, Eagle Rock, Warrensburg, Bethany, Luther, Berryville, Moran, Moundville, and Nevada today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (04/04/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the top left, Kansas City Technician Darren snapped a selfie with Senior Installation Technician Ron in the background.  They are in Prairie Village, Kansas today installing a Savaria Telecab.  Although Country Home Elevator primarily installs Symmetry Elevating Solutions lifts, we are licensed dealers of most, if not all, residential lifts.  We strive to offer as many options as possible, so homeowners can find their perfect fit.

The middle picture was sent in today by Arkansas Technician Dustin.  He is in Fort Smith, Arkansas evaluating older Inclinator Elevators for potential safety updates and modernization.  This picture is of a machine room, something that is antiquated with today’s residential elevators.  Even some commercial elevators are MRL (Machine Roomless), with all the elevator components contained in the hoistway.

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim took the top right picture at Urban Johnnies in Oklahoma City.  They have a Symmetry Hydraulic Vertical Platform Lift that needed servicing.  Vertical Platform Lifts are ideal for customers who want to meet ADA requirements, but do not have a usage need for a full elevator.  This vertical platform lift is in a hoistway, but they can also be unenclosed.

The bottom picture on the left was taken by Installation Manager Bill in Springfield, Missouri.  He is doing a site visit on a project that will soon house a Symmetry Home Elevator.  During these site visits the pre-wiring is completed, and our staff are available onsite to answer any questions the contractor/builder/homeowner may have.

The last picture on the bottom right was taken by Technician Ivan in West Plains, Missouri.  He completed a Stannah Sienna Stair Lift installation and is now doing a homeowner demonstration.  These stair lifts are installed in just a few short hours, providing a quick and easy accessibility solution for customers.

Our crews are also in Blue Eye, Lampe, Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, Lake Ozark, Climax Springs, Mission Hills, Clarksville, Ava, Bella Vista, Bentonville, and Monett today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (03/28/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The first two pictures on the left were sent in by Senior Technician Ron.  He is in Nixa, Missouri today finishing up on a Handicare Freecurve Stair Lift.  Custom built to fit your staircase, this unique, single track design is available in a variety of colors to match your home and decor.  To ensure an exact fit on your staircase, we utilize the proprietary PhotoSurvey3D system to take pictures of your stairs. These measurements are then uploaded into our system and transposed into an instant look at how your stairlift will look in your home. This allows you the opportunity to make sure you are happy with the design before we even leave your home!

The middle picture was sent in by Technician Ivan.  He is installing a Symmetry Home Elevator in Washington, Missouri today.  This elevator features a pass-through cab, it opens in the front and the back.  As you can see, we were able to match the interior of the elevator to the rest of the wood in the house.  This picture was taken before the gates were installed, that is why you can see the frame of the car.

The top right picture was taken by Lead Technician Adam, he got creative with his selfies today!  Technician Austin is pictured as well, he is in the hoistway of a Symmetry Home Elevator they are installing in University City, Missouri.  This is one of three elevators they will be installing in a group of town homes this week.

Poor Technician Tim sent in the bottom right picture today, he is stuck in the mud!  The local news anticipated that we would receive three inches of rain by Friday, and although we will always appreciate rain that is quite a bit in such a short span of time!

Our crews are also in Springfield, Kearney, Kansas City, Branson West, Hollister, Tulsa, Norman, Oklahoma City, and Sedalia today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
