Stair Lift or Stairlift, Chair Lift or Chairlift – Where Are We Wednesdays (11/14/2018)

Stair Lift or Stairlift, Chair Lift or Chairlift
Where Are We Wednesdays (11/14/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Senior Technician Ron and Lead Technician Adam are at the Christian County Courthouse in Ozark, Missouri today and sent in the first picture on the left.  They are installing a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift.  Vertical Platform Lifts are a great choice for lower lifting needs, they can accommodate a few inches or up to fourteen feet without taking up as much space as a ramp or elevator.

The middle picture was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren in Parkville, Missouri.  He is completing the final check of a newly installed Symmetry Home Elevator.  This elevator will service four floors once completed.

Stair lift or stairlift, chair lift or chairlift; which is correct?  Throughout the industry, each of these four have been used, they are actually interchangeable.  Inclinator Co. of America was the first to invent the lift in 1923, and they call them stair lifts, so I’ll stick with that.

Technician Ivan sent in the bottom left picture while in Galena, Missouri.  He is training Technician Jake on installing a Stannah Stair Lift.  We almost always have straight rail stair lifts in stock for quick installation, they are customized to fit the measurements of the staircase then installed.  Did you know that we have a discount program for stair lifts?  Customers must be in our servicing area to qualify, and simply need to fill out the Staircase Measurement Discount Form to save $200!

The final picture on the bottom right was sent in by Country Home Elevator Owner Craig Jones.  This is the new stair lift owner in Galena, taking her pup for a ride.  She said she will always think of him when using it, stair lifts can be life changing for those who struggle with stairs.  Thank you Craig for setting the example of how this company treats customers, just look at that smile!

Our crews are also in Hot Springs, Tumbling Shoals, Mission Hills, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Pawhuska, Bartlesville, Chickasaw, Gravois Mills, Sunrise Beach and Osage Beach today.  If you see one of our trucks, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (09/19/2018)

Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators
Where Are We Wednesdays (09/19/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the top left, we snapped a few pictures of the crews loading up at the Corporate Office first thing this morning.  Our crews are quick to get loaded and on the road, typically leaving for jobsites just after 7 a.m. each morning.  Our Corporate Office is located in Brighton, Missouri; about 15 minutes north of Springfield.  There is a giant billboard on the highway pointing to our office, you can’t miss it!  We have a Symmetry Home Elevator, a Waupaca Dumbwaiter, four stair lifts (brands vary and are swapped often because we offer so many options), a Stairwell Elevator, and many samples to look through.  We are happy to offer demonstrations on any and all of our equipment, feel free to stop by!

The middle picture on the left is of Technician Ivan testing a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift.  Along with Senior Technician Ron, they are installing this lift at the high school in Ash Grove, Missouri.  Vertical Platform Lifts are a common choice for schools, they are a more durable and economic option for wheelchair accessibility.

The picture on the bottom left was sent in by Lead Technician Adam.  His crew is in St. Louis, Missouri finishing an installation of a Stannah Stairlift in a church.  This lift successfully passed the County Inspection, and will be ready for parishioners to ride at services tonight!

The final picture on the right was sent in by Technician Tim in Prairie Village, Kansas.  He joined Installation Manager Bill, Kansas City Technician Darren, and Technician Jake in installing a Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator (PVE).  A relatively new technology, the pneumatic vacuum elevator has no peer for visual appeal, view from cab, quiet operation, and safety. Country Home Elevator sells and installs vacuum elevators from leading manufacturer PVE, in three sizes to accommodate the needs of every application.  The tubes come wrapped on the inside and the outside to maintain the highest quality during transport and installation, that is why the tube is not see through in the picture.

Our crews are also in Hot Springs, Gladstone, Del City, Ponca, and West Plains today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one pictured above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Home Elevator Customization Options
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/29/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim is in Okmulgee, Oklahoma today.  He is finishing up on the installation of a Symmetry Hydraulic Home Elevator.  This elevator cab features beautiful glass elements, one of the many customization options we offer.  The light-colored cab floor works with the lighting and mirrors to make the cab bright and spacious.

The top middle picture was sent in by Lead Technician Adam at a jobsite near Forest Park in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator in an office building.  The owner was looking for an economic ADA compliant solution, and the CHE LULA perfectly fit the bill!

The next picture was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren from Parkville, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Home Elevator, this picture shows the outer door with an auto-opening feature.  Once the elevator reaches the floor, the gate will automatically open and the door will open too.  These features are especially useful for individuals in wheelchairs.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Technician Ivan.  He is servicing a Stannah Stairlift in West Plains, Missouri today.  Eighteen years ago, this lift was installed to help a husband navigate the stairs.  The lift has been well maintained, due to its longevity the lift is now used by the wife too.  As you can see, the lift is in pristine condition!  We have so many happy Stannah customers, and so many new customers requesting them that we keep straight rail systems in stock for quick installs.

Our crews are also in University City, Belton, Kearney, Oklahoma City, Muskogee, and Linwood today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one pictured above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Symmetry Home Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (08/22/2018)

Symmetry Home Elevator Installations
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/22/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Kansas City Area Sales Consultant Amy is in Prairie Village, Kansas today checking on a jobsite.  Every elevator is required to have a door to protect the outside of the hoistway, and a gate to protect the interior elevator cab.  Symmetry Home Elevators come equipped with several options of gate, including the Symmetry Safety Three Panel, Accordian, Stainless Steel Two Speed, and Enterprise as featured here.  The Enterprise Gate replaced the traditional Scissor Gate, which is no longer Elevator Safety Code Compliant.  This two stop elevator is housed in the model home of an upcoming development, of which Country Home Elevator will be the premiere elevator provider.

The top middle picture was sent in by Technician Ivan during a service call in Bolivar, Missouri today.  Pictured is a Stannah Stairlift that provides accessibility for the homeowners to their basement.  This staircase is very steep in a lowly lit area, making it a likely fall hazard for even the most agile person.  The homeowners not only use the lift to navigate the stairs, but they also use the remotes to trolley laundry baskets and canned goods from floor to floor to each other.

The final two pictures were sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren while in the Village of Loch Lloyd, Missouri today.  He is installing the preliminary wiring and set up for a three stop Symmetry Home Elevator.  During these visits, the technicians will also meet with the contractor to go over any necessary steps before they install the elevator.  The final picture of the three story hoistway depicts the necessity of fall protection and training for our teams.  All employees that will be on jobsites are required to complete OSHA classes, as well as monthly safety training and continuing education courses.  Employee safety is an upmost importance!

Our crews are also in Springfield, Buffalo, Morrisville, Licking, St. Louis, Kearney, Mission Hills, Kansas City, Halfway, Tulsa, Del City, Piedmont, and Branson today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Elevator and Stair Lift Service – Where Are We Wednesdays (08/01/2018)

Elevator and Stair Lift Service
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/01/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Installation Manager Bill, Lead Technician Adam, and Technician Austin are in Springfield, Missouri uninstalling two out-of-service elevators for Bass Pro Shops.  They sent in the two pictures on the left, Wonders of Wildlife can be seen in the background of the first.  Although uncommon, mobility equipment removals are one of the services we offer.

The top middle picture was taken by Senior Technician Ron, he and Technician Ivan are also in Springfield today.  They met up with a Savaria Factory Rep, and are completing on the job factory training with a Savaria Telecab.  Continuing Education is not only important for crew efficiency, it is actually required by State and National Standards.

Our newest employee, Technician Jake, sent in the bottom middle picture from Branson, Missouri.  He is on a service call for a Stannah Stair Lift.  Welcome to the team Jake!

The final two pictures were sent in by Sales Consultant John while in Osage Beach, Missouri.  Several weeks ago, our crews finished the installation of a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift at Dog Days Bar and Grille.  This lift services three levels, the boat dock, the pool, and the restaurant.  The lift is in such a beautiful spot John was excited to see the final product.

Our crews are also in Jefferson City, Kansas City, Leawood, Oak Grove, Ottawa, Oklahoma City, Orongo, Eureka Springs, Bolivar, Nixa, and Luther today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Where Are We Wednesdays (01/24/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Senior Technician Ron snapped the first picture on the top left as he entered Tiger Country.  No, he is not at the Tiger Sanctuary today, he is at Humansville High School in Humansville, Missouri servicing their LU/LA Elevator.  This elevator was originally installed in the 80’s by another company, but we have since taken over their service.  Due to Country Home Elevator’s extensive parts inventory and decades of combined service experience, we are available to service most models of accessibility equipment.

The bottom picture on the left was taken by Technician Ivan.  He is with Technician Tim installing a Stannah Stairlift in Springfield, Missouri.  Although Country Home Elevator sells all major brands of Stair Lifts available in the United States, Stannah is our top selling brand.  We typically keep them in stock so the turn around time from purchase to installation is quick, assisting our customers with fast mobility solutions.

The final picture was taken by our Lead Technician Adam.  His crew is installing the second Canton Elevator at The Grand Country Inn.  The Grand Country Inn is an expansive resort right on Highway 76, the main strip of Branson, Missouri.  Country Home Elevator has already installed dumbwaiters to service their five onsite restaurants, and services the elevator at The Grand Country Fun Spot.  The Canton Elevators are outdoor and service the lodging areas, thankfully this week has been about fifty degrees warmer than last week!

Our crews are also in St. Louis, Platte Woods, Oak Grove, Columbia, and Oklahoma City today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
