American Made Products
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/10/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Lead Technician Adam and Technician Austin are at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.  They are installing a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift in one of the Fraternity Houses.  This platform lift is housed in a hoistway that was previously stacked closets, making it fully enclosed.  Once the installation is completed and the jobsite is cleaned up, the lift will be ready for use!  All of the products you will read about today were made not only in the USA, but in the Midwest.  Symmetry Elevating Solutions’ products come out of Peoria, Illinois.

The middle picture on the top was sent in by Senior Technician Ron and Technician Jessie.  They are installing another Canton Elevator for Grand Country Inn in Branson, Missouri.  Canton Elevator Incorporated products come out of North Canton, Ohio.

The picture on the bottom was sent in by Technicians Tim and Jake in Shell Knob, Missouri.  They are performing a prewire for a Symmetry Home Elevator.  During this visit they will check all final measurements of the hoistway to ensure that the elevator installation goes as smoothly as possible.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He is at a service call for a Dumbwaiter made by Waupaca Elevator Company.  These home dumbwaiters come in either 100 or 200 pound capacities, and help the homeowner carry groceries, laundry, and holiday decorations from floor to floor.  They are unobtrusive, when the doors are closed they simply look like hallway cabinets.  Waupaca Elevator Company has been manufacturing dumbwaiters since 1957 and their products are based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.

Our crews are also in Springfield, Lenexa, Parkville, Licking, St. Louis, and Chestnut Ridge today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Curved Stairlifts – Where Are We Wednesdays (10/03/2018)

Curved Stairlifts
Where Are We Wednesdays (10/03/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The first three pictures were sent in by Sales Consultant John today in Springfield, Missouri.  This week crews have been installing the pictured Handicare Freecurve Stairlift, and now that the job is complete the customer is trying it out.

Country Home Elevator can install even the most complex curved stairway lifts with ease. To ensure an exact fit on your staircase, we utilize the Handicare proprietary PhotoSurvey3D system to take pictures of your stairs. These measurements are then uploaded into our system and transposed into an instant preview of how your stairlift will look in your home.  Our sales staff all have tablets that customers can use for the virtual experience.

This stairlift was installed with a special feature, a retractable rail.  In the first picture on the bottom left, the customer rode the stairlift to the bottom of the rail and exited safely on the main floor.  See the black piece on the rail right above the seat?  This is a retractable joint.  In the next picture, the stairlift and rail have been retracted onto itself, so it does not take up room in the walkway.  Retractable rails are an option for both straight and curved lifts, and are operated with the remote for easy use.

The next picture was sent in by Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim in Perkins, Oklahoma.  He is at a service call for a Car Lift, a personal garage lift used to maximize space by stacking cars using a platform.  They are utilized by first parking a car on the platform then lowing the lift into the pit and parking a car on top, or parking a car on top and lifting it above so a second car can be parked at ground level.  The first option is used by homeowners that want to keep a vehicle hidden, the latter for homeowners with higher ceiling space.  Country Home Elevator offers a few different options and brands when it comes to this type of lift.

The last picture on the bottom right was sent in by Lead Technician Adam in Chesterfield, Missouri.  Along with Technician Jesse, they are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator.  This view is during installation in which the car is between floors and Adam is below making adjustments.

Our crews are also in Rogers, St Marys, Overland Park, Kimberling City, El Dorado Springs, Branson, Tulsa, Vinita, and Norwood today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Senior Technician Ron is in Weaubleau, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Vertical Platform Lift at the High School.  Once completed, this lift will be used to make the gymnasium ADA compliant.

The middle three pictures are of additional elevators being added to townhome projects.  Lead Technician Adam and Technician Jesse returned to the Front Street Condos in Washington, Missouri to add another Symmetry Home Elevator.  In the middle picture you can see that the elevator opens into the kitchen, making it easy for homeowners to transport groceries.  Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim, Technician Ivan, and Technician Owen are installing a Symmetry Home Elevator to another condo at the Urban 8 project in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  These private elevators enable urban developments to utilize minimal land by building up instead of out.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Lead Technician Adam, on his way to Washington he stopped in Springfield, Missouri for a quick elevator door adjustment for a contractor.  This Symmetry Home Elevator was made with a custom elevator cab by local small business Sundance Cabinets.  Owner Duane Sherman milled raw walnut to create the custom shiplap patterns of the walls.  He also installed a glass window and developed the specialty recessed ceiling.  Country Home Elevator offers full customization on our elevators, and are happy help bring your vision to life!

Home Elevator Customization Options
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/29/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim is in Okmulgee, Oklahoma today.  He is finishing up on the installation of a Symmetry Hydraulic Home Elevator.  This elevator cab features beautiful glass elements, one of the many customization options we offer.  The light-colored cab floor works with the lighting and mirrors to make the cab bright and spacious.

The top middle picture was sent in by Lead Technician Adam at a jobsite near Forest Park in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access Elevator in an office building.  The owner was looking for an economic ADA compliant solution, and the CHE LULA perfectly fit the bill!

The next picture was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren from Parkville, Missouri today.  He is installing a Symmetry Home Elevator, this picture shows the outer door with an auto-opening feature.  Once the elevator reaches the floor, the gate will automatically open and the door will open too.  These features are especially useful for individuals in wheelchairs.

The final picture on the right was sent in by Technician Ivan.  He is servicing a Stannah Stairlift in West Plains, Missouri today.  Eighteen years ago, this lift was installed to help a husband navigate the stairs.  The lift has been well maintained, due to its longevity the lift is now used by the wife too.  As you can see, the lift is in pristine condition!  We have so many happy Stannah customers, and so many new customers requesting them that we keep straight rail systems in stock for quick installs.

Our crews are also in University City, Belton, Kearney, Oklahoma City, Muskogee, and Linwood today.  If you see one of our trucks, like the one pictured above, feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays

Symmetry Home Elevators – Where Are We Wednesdays (08/22/2018)

Symmetry Home Elevator Installations
Where Are We Wednesdays (08/22/2018)

Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the left, Kansas City Area Sales Consultant Amy is in Prairie Village, Kansas today checking on a jobsite.  Every elevator is required to have a door to protect the outside of the hoistway, and a gate to protect the interior elevator cab.  Symmetry Home Elevators come equipped with several options of gate, including the Symmetry Safety Three Panel, Accordian, Stainless Steel Two Speed, and Enterprise as featured here.  The Enterprise Gate replaced the traditional Scissor Gate, which is no longer Elevator Safety Code Compliant.  This two stop elevator is housed in the model home of an upcoming development, of which Country Home Elevator will be the premiere elevator provider.

The top middle picture was sent in by Technician Ivan during a service call in Bolivar, Missouri today.  Pictured is a Stannah Stairlift that provides accessibility for the homeowners to their basement.  This staircase is very steep in a lowly lit area, making it a likely fall hazard for even the most agile person.  The homeowners not only use the lift to navigate the stairs, but they also use the remotes to trolley laundry baskets and canned goods from floor to floor to each other.

The final two pictures were sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren while in the Village of Loch Lloyd, Missouri today.  He is installing the preliminary wiring and set up for a three stop Symmetry Home Elevator.  During these visits, the technicians will also meet with the contractor to go over any necessary steps before they install the elevator.  The final picture of the three story hoistway depicts the necessity of fall protection and training for our teams.  All employees that will be on jobsites are required to complete OSHA classes, as well as monthly safety training and continuing education courses.  Employee safety is an upmost importance!

Our crews are also in Springfield, Buffalo, Morrisville, Licking, St. Louis, Kearney, Mission Hills, Kansas City, Halfway, Tulsa, Del City, Piedmont, and Branson today.  If you see one of our trucks feel free to tag us on Facebook using #countryhomeelevator or #wherearewewednesdays
