Happy Wednesday Folks!

Starting on the top left, Senior Technician Ron and Lead Technician Adam are in Warsaw, Missouri today.  They are responding to a service request for a Savaria Telecab elevator.  Although Country Home Elevator has been installing and servicing Savaria products for well over a decade, we are expanding our line to include the Savaria Vuelift.  These elevators are comprised of glass walls, giving customers full views.  We will be releasing more information soon on all of our upcoming products!

Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim took the middle left picture today while in Edmond, Oklahoma.  He is visiting the jobsite for a new office building that will feature a Symmetry Limited Use/Limited Access (LU/LA) Elevator.  This elevator will service 3 floors once completed.  Jim met with the contractor to discuss the hoistway construction and recheck framing measurements.  These visits are crucial when installing any of our products, it is simple to correct any issues at this stage before the elevator is built.

The bottom picture on the left and the top picture on the right were taken in Rogers, Arkansas by Technician Tim and Technician Ivan.  They are preforming a retro kit installation on a LEV Home Elevator.  This elevator is no longer manufactured, and the manufacturer is no longer operating in the States so when components fail or are damaged they are replaced with Symmetry parts.  Due to damage, they are replacing almost all of the electrical components today.

The final picture on the bottom right was sent in by Kansas City Technician Darren.  Installation Manager Bill met up with him in Lawrence, Kansas to install a Transporter Elevator.  The Transporter Elevator is the industry’s only battery powered residential home elevator, virtually eliminating concerns regarding power outages. The unit can run multiple trips (up to 10+ times), in BOTH directions, on its own batteries.

Technician Ivan sent in the first two photos today from a jobsite in Kansas City, Missouri.  He joined Kansas City Technician Darren (pictured in the top middle) to install a Symmetry Home Elevator that will service four floors.  The Symmetry Home Elevator can service up to six floors, we have installed them from cupolas all the way down to multi-basements.

The bottom middle picture was taken by Lead Technician Adam, him and Technician Austin joined Oklahoma Technician Owen to complete the installation Symmetry Limited Access/Limited Use Elevator in Edmond, Oklahoma.  This picture shows the hoistway and machine room, the mounting pieces are set and the rail is next!

The final picture on the right was taken by Technician Tim.   Pictured is Installation Manager Bill inspecting the drive system of a Transporter Elevator before they unload it to begin the installation in Mt Vernon, Missouri.  This cutting-edge elevator is the only residential elevator in the industry that is battery powered.  With most of our servicing area in Tornado Alley, we see quite a bit of storms, which can make potential customers leery about getting stuck in their elevator.  Although all elevators are required to have a battery backup in place, the Transporter can run multiple trips (up to 10+ times), in BOTH directions, on its own batteries.

Happy Wednesday Folks!

The first picture on the left was sent by Lead Technician Adam of Technician Andrew during the installation of a Symmetry Home Elevator in Springfield, Missouri.  Once the hoistway is complete, this type of elevator can be installed in just a few days.  Manufactured in Peoria, Illinois; throughout the year employees attend factory training to be as safe and efficient as possible!

The bottom left picture is my favorite, happy customers!  Our Senior Technician Ron snapped this picture of Mr. & Mrs. Woo out of Florissant, Missouri.  Their Transporter Elevator, featured in the middle, received some final adjustments and is ready for riders!  If you look closely, you can see a convenient foldable seat in the elevator cab.

The top right picture was sent by Technician Ivan.  He is with Oklahoma Operations Manager Jim installing the wiring and call stations for a home in Sapulpa.  Once the construction is closer to completion, crews will return to install the Hydraulic Symmetry Home Elevator.  The driveway has been rained on all day, Ivan had to clean inches of mud off his boots before entering the jobsite!

The final picture on the right was taken by Installation Manager Bill, he is with Sales Consultant John and Technician Andy in Bella Vista, Arkansas.  They are also finishing up on a Symmetry Home Elevator install, we are happy to have so many projects completed in time for Christmas!

Today, our Lead Technician Adam has a team installing a Transporter Elevator in Florrisant, Missouri.  The Transporter Elevator is the only battery powered home elevator in the industry, it can run over ten trips simply on the battery.  With all the storms that come through the Midwest, having an elevator that is immune to power outages can make all the difference!

The Transporter Elevator is easily installed, it does not require a traditional hoistway so extensive construction is not necessary.  This elevator is the perfect option for existing homes that do not want to compromise floorspace, pits and machine rooms are not needed.  They can be installed on any wall, it does not have to be exterior or load bearing.  Not having a hoistway is also a perk for homeowners who struggle with claustrophobia.
